Ben 10: Alien Force is an action-adventure game created by Vicious Cycle Software and released by D3 Publisher, based on the American animated series of the same name. It came out in North America on October 21, 2008, and in the United Kingdom on February 13, 2009.
The story begins when Ben Tennyson, his cousin Gwen, and Kevin Levin run into the Forever Knights at a pier, who are after a piece of alien technology. They meet Gorvan, a Tetramand Plumber from off-world who is hunting for illegal alien tech and asks for their help. The trio collects components from several locations, fighting off the Forever Knights and Pickaxe Aliens guarding them. As they gather more parts, Gorvan becomes increasingly suspicious, so the group decides to watch him closely. They later learn that Gorvan is a disgraced Plumber, kicked out for hoarding and selling illegal alien technology. Kevin decides to go after Gorvan alone, with Ben following.
Kevin bursts into Gorvan’s hideout and finds that Gorvan has been stockpiling alien tech for an unknown buyer. Gorvan releases Xenocites, which attack Kevin. When Ben catches up, he sees Kevin infected by Xenocites. Ben defeats Kevin and sends him back to Gwen. Ben then finds and defeats Gorvan. Returning to Gwen and Kevin, they discover Gorvan was gathering components for a Highbreed, who steals a component and an energy source from them.
They track the Highbreed, who has used the parts to build a weather tower meant to make Earth habitable for the Highbreed—a process that would kill all humans. A swarm of DNAliens attacks, forcing the team to split up. Ben accidentally activates the tower while trying to shut it down. Gwen and Kevin disable the tower’s forcefields, allowing Ben to destroy it.
The game received “generally unfavorable” reviews according to the review aggregator Metacritic.
